Grace & John’s Wedding at Hyde Bank Farm

April 14, 2025

There’s something truly magical about a wedding in the Cheshire countryside, and Grace and John’s big day at Hyde Bank Farm was no exception. With stunning rustic charm, breathtaking scenery, and plenty of love and laughter, their wedding was a joy to capture. As a wedding photographer in Cheshire and Manchester, I get to witness so many incredible celebrations, and this one certainly stood out.

Bridal preparation photography

The day began at Grace’s home, where she and her bridal party enjoyed a morning filled with excitement, laughter, and a few happy tears. One of the most touching moments was when Grace’s dad saw her for the first time: an emotional moment that truly set the tone for the day.

A romantic ceremony at Hyde Bank Farm

We then made our way to Hyde Bank Farm, where John was nervously waiting! Hyde Bank Farm is a beautiful venue nestled in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, and it brings the perfect blend of rustic charm and contemporary style- the ideal backdrop for wedding photography.

The ceremony took place in the Anne Hyde Suite, a space steeped in history, named after King James’s wife. With its timeless stone walls and exposed oak beams, the suite creates an intimate and atmospheric setting that perfectly complements the romance of a wedding ceremony. As Grace walked down the aisle, John’s expression said it all: pure love and happiness.

Capturing moments in the Cheshire countryside

After the ceremony, it was time for some post-ceremony wedding photography in the grounds of Hyde Bank Farm. With its scenic countryside backdrop, the venue offers the perfect setting for romantic couple portraits and fun group shots. We even managed to incorporate a tractor into some of the photos, adding a unique and playful touch to the wedding gallery!

The outdoor spaces at Hyde Bank Farm are a dream for any Cheshire wedding photographer. Set amidst the picturesque landscape of Romiley, the venue offers a peaceful escape. With the Goyt Valley in the background and guests enjoying cocktails on the charming patio, the relaxed atmosphere of the day shone through in every photograph.

Reception and evening celebration

The celebrations then moved into the main wedding breakfast barn. This newer part of the venue boasts a magnificent 9-metre panoramic window overlooking the Goyt Valley, bringing the Cheshire countryside right into the heart of the reception. With its rustic oak beams, spacious dance floor, and grand barn doors, it was the perfect setting for a night of dining and dancing.

As the evening unfolded, Grace and John and their guests danced the night away, making memories to last a lifetime.

A wedding to remember at Hyde Bank Farm

Grace and John’s wedding at Hyde Bank Farm was a true celebration of love, laughter, and countryside charm. It was a pleasure to capture their special day and document the unforgettable moments that made it uniquely theirs. If you’re planning your own Cheshire wedding and are looking for a wedding photographer to capture every moment, get in touch; I’d love to hear your plans!
