Edwardian Country House

Working as a Mere Court Hotel Wedding Photographer is fantastic, partly down to the building itself. A former Edwardian Country house, based in in the very heart of Cheshire, it is set in 7 acres of spectacular land. It was originally built as a wedding present for William and Amy Dunkerley in 1903. Also, their cannot be many other Knutsford Wedding Venues who have hosted former US President Bill Clinton! Its gardens and ornamental lake are just a couple of things that help to make Mere Court Hotel ideal for wedding photographers.

Bridal Prep at Mere Court

Most brides spend the morning of their wedding getting ready at The Lodge. A luxurious 2 storey, 2 bedroom building with views of the Cheshire Countryside, it stands at the start of the driveway. A home from home, it really is the perfect place for your bridal party to get ready.

The gardens at Mere Court are great, especially in the early evening sunlight. There are lots of pockets of light and shadow which are ideal for photographers who want to try and use the light creatively for wedding portraits.
