Working as a Cheshire Wedding Photographer makes me fortunate to be able to work at so many different wedding venues. For the first time later this year I shall be at the Oak Tree of Peover, which is exciting to say the least!

Peover Wedding Venue
Based in Little Peover in Knutsford, in the heart of the Cheshire countryside this former golf club became a wedding venue in 2015. Compared to other Cheshire wedding barn venues, there is a secretive but welcoming feel to the Oak Tree. Once you make your way down the tree lined driveway, you begin to get the feel of where a golf course may once have lay. Small ponds where many a frustrated golfer has lost a ball, now provide the venue with unique water areas. Then as you approach the car park you begin to see the beautiful Oak frame venue. Surrounded by trees and green space, the grounds surrounding the venue allow for moments of reflection. Enough space to have five minutes of calm without missing out on the fun. It really does offer some great spaces to work for an Oak Tree of Peover Wedding Photographer.

Exclusive Use
Like some other wedding locations in the North West, The Oak Tree of Peover offers the Bride and Groom exclusive use of the wedding venue. This allows them and their guests the chance to have the whole place to themselves without interruption. The venue also comes ready dressed in fairy lights and their indoor foliage is always growing!
Approved Caterers
Unlike other venues, The Oak Tree have several approved caterers to choose from. Offering a huge variety of menu options and the option to mix and match daytime and evening caterers. Then once you have your food and drink, there are the two outdoor firepit tables to relax alongside on the terrace. If there weather isn’t too friendly, then there is always the log fire indoors!

Getting married at the Oak Tree of Peover
The Oak tree offers not one, not two but THREE options for where to get married. Both the Acorn Lounge and Ladybird Room are licensed for Civil Ceremonies. The beautiful Pavilion is also licensed for outdoor weddings. This allows you to get married surrounded by the stunning Cheshire Countryside.
When the venue extended in Spring 2019, there was an influx of ladybirds throughout the wedding venue. It makes sense that the brand-new Ceremony room was named The Ladybird Room.
Floor to ceiling windows and skylights that flood the room with natural light, allow for picturesque views of the venue’s grounds. Not only will you be surrounded by your friends and family, but also the beautiful views as you say “I do.” The amount of daylight is another thing that excites me about being an Oak Tree of Peover wedding photographer.
