When I got a call from Clare at Clara Lou Photography asking me to come along as a second photographer to Natalie and Paul’s wedding at the Mere Resort in Knutsford, I jumped at the chance. With 81 luxury guest rooms, a Championship Golf Course and 262 acres of grounds, The Mere is one of Cheshire’s most popular wedding venues.
Documentary Wedding Photography
Clare and I have very similar wedding photography style and so we work very well together. From meeting the family and working through the Bridal prep, we gathered images in a documentary wedding photography style, with no posing throughout. 
First Look
Once all the bridal hair and make up was done, the dresses and suits worn with pride, it was time for one of my favourite moments. The father-daughter first look! As Natalie prepared herself for what is always an emotional moment, the father of the bride waited on the other side of the door, before choking back tears and giving her a big thumbs up!
Mere Resort Weddings
Following a beautiful wedding ceremony and a wedding breakfast, with speeches packed with lots of laughter and tears, the happy couple were driven by golf buggy to the iconic archway at the front of the Mere Resort driveway for a few more photographs, before returning to their friends and family and dancing until the VERY early hours!
