Thanks for coming to my site and looking at my wedding photography portfilio. I hope it gives you an idea into my style and the way I photograph weddings.
If I had to use words to describe the way I would photograph your wedding I would say that I am most likely to ‘borrow’ you for pockets of the day and capture moments in a documentary manner.
I begin the day covering the bridal prep. This can provide some fantastic moments for images from the very beginning of your wedding day. Then I am around for all the moments in the middle and finish off shortly after your first dance.
I like to provide you with images from the day without you waking up the following morning regretting the fact that you spent more time posing for photographs than you did with your friends and family. For that reason, I spend time with you before the wedding, planning what images you want as part of the day, such as the special people in your life that you may want to make sure you have a photograph with.
“Do you do group photos?”
Yes I do, but not loads! For the reasons outlined above. Groups can take up YOUR time if a friend has wandered to the bar or the toilet, so I tend to arrange a list with you of no more than 8 group shots.
“We like relaxed wedding photography, not posed.”
Then you’re perfect for me! I value the moments on your wedding day, the moments that you or your partner may not see. YES, I may pose you up for a photograph or a portrait together, but I promise I won’t have you stood around gazing into each others eyes for 5 minutes at a time, when you’d rather be talking to your best friend about what a great day you’re having.
My aim is to make you feel as relaxed about your wedding photographs as possible. From the first time we meet up during one of my none obligatory meetings, right up to the when I give you your finished product. I want to capture images from your day that you are going to treasure for many years to come and love to show to your friends and family.
“How do we book you?”
The best way to start the process is to look at my work. If you like it and have looked through my blogs then drop me an email via my contact page or call me on 07711 459404. We can then arrange a meeting or a facetime/skype call to discuss any questions, availability and the details of your day. You are then free to take some time and if you want to go ahead and book me then a booking fee and a completed booking form holds that day for you.
Enjoy all the planning for your wedding day. I’m more than happy to help if I can.
